Sorry, I have been remiss!

This post is from mid Feb. We stayed at Koreshan State Historic Site for 7 days.  You can see my Keys bouys decorating our site.  The Estero River runs through this park and made a nice paddling day for us.

During this stay we met up with our Aliner friends, Lynn and Forrest.  We visited the Edison/Ford Winter estates in Fort Myers for a nice day trip.  I did not realize the scope of Edison's inventions.  He worked with much more than just light bulbs.  Having over 1,000 patents during his lifetime.

Edison was very interested in plants of all kinds and exotics.  The grounds were covered with such variety.  The quote below is from Edison in 1931, he really was before his time!

Feb. 14th we moved from Ft Myers north 75 miles to Osprey (south of Sarasota).  We are staying in Oscar Shearer State Park.  Meeting up with old friends and gathering new ones has filled our social calendar here.  We have gotten a day in hunting shark's teeth and hope to go again tomorrow.
I will try to get a post on later this week.  Aaron is coming from CA to visit us for a week and Les's brother Kevin and wife Peggy will come camp with us also.  That will make for a very pleasant and fun week.
We move to Myakka State Park Tuesday.
