Had an excellent visit with Aaron and Bonnie (oh yeah, Jayne too). Today is Thanksgiving. The turkey is in the oven. The shopping finished. And the pies, ordered and picked up (hey, we are on vacation!). The weather was really nice the last few days, sunny but cooler than usual for this area, highs in the 50's but lows in the 30's. Frost on the windows in the mornings. Les and I are really enjoying being so close to the coast, taking walks on the beach often and being Wowed by the views of the ocean that often surprise you as you crest a hill while driving.
Happy Thanksgiving to all.
Our long flight home is tomorrow. We are not looking forward to 5+ hours on the plane! Oh well, it was worth it to see the kids!!

Beautiful Redwood forests and dramatic beaches.
